Rowan's First Trip-- Chicago 2013

We had such a great time visiting family and friends in Chicago... but most of all taking Rowan on his first trip!! He did SO well on the plane... slept for a bit, then played for a bit, etc... He loved being around all the people and meeting GG and Great Grandpa, Aunt, Uncles and Cousins!!! All in all a great trip!!

And Once Again I am Behind....Nine Months

We have a little firecracker on our hands and I just can't get around to this darn blog!!! Rowan is now 9 months old and such a personality!!! We just LOVE HIM and he surprises us everyday with his shenanigans!!!

Nine Months:

- CRAWLING!!!! 

we can't even believe it!! I still have yet to get a really good video of this, but he is super fast and it is hard to keep him in one spot!!

-Pulls himself up to stand!!

he LOVES to pull himself up on just about anything!!!

- So active and full of life!!

- Weighs atleast 21 lbs!! (We will find out tomorrow at his 9 month well check)

- Smiley, laughs a lot, loves to be tickled, VERY vocal, doesn't like to sit still, still doesn't sleep or nap well, HAPPY baby!!

We just can't get enough of this little man.... he is so darn funny and we just love watching him grow!

Rowan's Seven Month Stats

I just can't believe our baby boy is 7 months old in a couple days!! WOW! He is in such a fun stage right now, learning so much and has SO much personality!! He is legitimately funny and does some of the most random stuff that makes us laugh everyday! We just can't get enough of our little love bug:

7 months:

- Rowan is rolling back and forth full time now!! He now has decided to roll over in his crib multiple times a night with no intention of rolling back over and full intentions of crying until I go and help him!! What a goose!

- Weight- 17 lbs (24th percentile)

Height- 85th percentile for end of 6 month... didn't tell me inches!

Head-- large!! But oh so stinkin cute!!

- SO ACTIVE!!! With having to do so much therapy... he is quite the mover! He sits almost completely by himself now and is learning how to transition from sitting to belly! So proud of how hard he works!!

- SUCH A GOOF!! Has decided that sticking his tongue out at us everytime we say "mama or dada" is hilarious and we find it pretty funny too!!

- SO.SO.HANDSOME... I realize I am partial because he is my world and I am his momma... but I'm just sayin...

- Still hates most baby foods... we have figured out that he really doesn't like anything with sugar in it... any kind of fruit, apple juice, etc... which is rough because he needs it for contipation (TMI) and won't eat or drink it!! We are still trying in hopes he will learn to love sweets..

-WE LOVE HIM!!!

Grandpa and Nama Schlumpf Come to Visit

It had been three months since we had seen Tyler's mom and dad, so we were super excited when they offered to come for a short visit to see Mr. Rowan!! He is SO much bigger and more vocal/active now than in January when they were here last, so it was fun to see how they responded to him!! Here are a few pics from the weekend!! Fun times!!
