Rowan's Seven Month Stats

I just can't believe our baby boy is 7 months old in a couple days!! WOW! He is in such a fun stage right now, learning so much and has SO much personality!! He is legitimately funny and does some of the most random stuff that makes us laugh everyday! We just can't get enough of our little love bug:

7 months:

- Rowan is rolling back and forth full time now!! He now has decided to roll over in his crib multiple times a night with no intention of rolling back over and full intentions of crying until I go and help him!! What a goose!

- Weight- 17 lbs (24th percentile)

Height- 85th percentile for end of 6 month... didn't tell me inches!

Head-- large!! But oh so stinkin cute!!

- SO ACTIVE!!! With having to do so much therapy... he is quite the mover! He sits almost completely by himself now and is learning how to transition from sitting to belly! So proud of how hard he works!!

- SUCH A GOOF!! Has decided that sticking his tongue out at us everytime we say "mama or dada" is hilarious and we find it pretty funny too!!

- SO.SO.HANDSOME... I realize I am partial because he is my world and I am his momma... but I'm just sayin...

- Still hates most baby foods... we have figured out that he really doesn't like anything with sugar in it... any kind of fruit, apple juice, etc... which is rough because he needs it for contipation (TMI) and won't eat or drink it!! We are still trying in hopes he will learn to love sweets..

-WE LOVE HIM!!!

Grandpa and Nama Schlumpf Come to Visit

It had been three months since we had seen Tyler's mom and dad, so we were super excited when they offered to come for a short visit to see Mr. Rowan!! He is SO much bigger and more vocal/active now than in January when they were here last, so it was fun to see how they responded to him!! Here are a few pics from the weekend!! Fun times!!

Rowan plays Peek a Boo!!

We have been trying to teach Rowan how to play peek-a-boo on his own now and he finally caught on!! It was so funny to watch him whip the blanket off his face and then put it back up again for more!!! I caught a little bit on video:

Easter 2013

We had a really nice first Easter for Rowan... though he didn't understand the whole Easter basket, eggs, church concept.... it was still so fun to watch him take it all in!! We went over to my mom and dads after church and a breakfast out and spent the day lounging and playing with Liam (Rowan's cousin)... unfortunately baby G wasn't there due to being sick, so it was just a boys day to play!!

6 Month Dr. Visit and Stats

Rowan is 6 months!! Well, has been for about a week, here are his latest stats from his Dr. visit!!

Weight: 16.34 lbs!!! (27th percentile)--- BIG BOY!!

Height: 26.77 inches (56th percentile)-- TALL!!

Head circumference: 17.32 inches (71st percentile)---- BIG BRAIN!!! haha

JUST LOVE HIM

6 Months:

- sitting up on his own for little bits of time!! Is really starting to understand balance and will sit and play with toys!!!

- HATES any fruits or veggies we give him at this point! We have tried everything! haha

- Tried a sippy cup of water for the first time!!! He did pretty well!!

- Getting MUCH better with naps... if in the swing... haha

- LOVES to watch TV and pixar movies with mommy and daddy!!

- LOVES bath time!!! He has a bunch of little squirty toys that he loves to chew on!!!

- still our silly boy!!!
