31 Weeks

So, here we are at 31 weeks!! Can't believe in only 9 more we will get to meet our sweet boy... we can't even tell you how excited we are!! I am super uncomfortable now a days... so I am probably a little more ready for him to be out than Tyler!!

This Week:

- Tyler painted the top of his hamper to match his dresser.. now we just need new knobs!

- Working on his mobile to hang above his crib.. I think it will be super cute!

- hung up his shelf above crib and added his metallic ROWAN letters... it turned out cute! I will post finished nursery pics in a couple weeks!

- Ordered a super cute green bassinet for our bedroom for Rowan to sleep in.... got a great deal!!

- Ordered Rowan's bedding and curtains are on their way!! :)

- Still waiting on chair, should be here in the next few weeks hopefully!!

- Cravings: PASTA!, ice cream, chips, fruit (watermelon)

- He is so active!! I love it, but sometimes it hurts!! Really having a hard time sleeping.... guess I am getting ready for when he is here! He is a night owl!

31 Weeks

30 Weeks and Growing!!

I can't believe we are already at 30 weeks today!! This little man will be here before we know it.. we still have so much to do! I will be considered full term in 8 short weeks.... crazy!

This Week:

- Rowan is such the little kicker! I think he is running out of room in there and feels the need to tell me all the time!

- Dr. Appt a few days ago, heartbeat was 160... :) Awesome!

- Still working on the nursery, I think it will be a while!

- Bought our pack and play! There is a really nice second hand store by my parents house... the prices are super reasonable and the products are hardly used! It is not the one we really wanted that we registered for, but it is in great condition and will work for what we need it for!

- Looking forward to getting the rest of the room items in the next month or so!

- Up 16 pounds since being pregnant... goal is 25.. hope I can do it (I eat like a crazy person!)

- Feeling the weight, the heat, and the tiredness... hard to sleep.. but worth it!

30 Weeks

29 Weeks and Room Part 2!!

So, I am one of the most indecisive decorating people I know... I finish a project, then take it down and start all over again! This is exactly what I did with Rowan's Room!! Here are some updated pics.. can't promise it will stay this way, but I hope I can decide on something soon! :)

Had Tyler make me another pallet for the extra long chalkboard wall.. needed a little something!

This Week:

- Busting my hump on his room!! (Just can't seem to be satisfied!)

- Hard to sleep! My belly is getting too big! 

- Bought Rowan some more adorable outfits, so excited to see him in them!

- One week away from 30 weeks! Can't believe it!

- Cravings: carbs, carbs and more carbs!

- Looking forward to our Dr.'s appointment next week!

- Another "Meet the Pediatrician" meeting tomorrow

29 Weeks

28 Weeks and Room Update

Feeling really pregnant lately!! 28 weeks and I know I have a long way to grow!

This week:

- Not much new from last week!!

- Tyler and I are in the process of chevron taping his closet to have baby blue and white chevron stripes on the inside... can't wait to see it when it's done!

Not perfectly straight, but it has character! The blue tape chevrons will be white and the rest of the closet a baby blue!

- We finished the base of the dresser for his room, still waiting for pieces to come in that were warped when they came in the first time!

- Finally got my ABC card wall up to add some color to the chalkboard wall! Added some frames to be able to write in!

Saw these cards on a children's website while browsing online and thought they were too cute!!

- Ordered nursery chair!! Excited to get this baby in about another month!

This color is about the same as we ordered, but the fabric is a little different!

We still have quite a bit left but it is coming along!!

- Feeling good! Tired and warm (as to be expected in July in AZ)... 

- Cravings-- carbs! Loving chips and dips! Also Ice Cream

- Can start to make out where Rowan is (according to movements).. can sometimes feel his little feet!

- Feet and hands are starting to swell up... super attractive!

- Meeting one of the pediatricians today!

- Looking forward to our next Ultrasound in a couple weeks!

28 Weeks

27 Weeks

We can't believe that we are going into the third trimester in only a week or so! We are starting to feel the crunch to get things done and have put a lot of thought, time and effort into this little guy these past few weeks!

This Week:

- Took our last plane ride on vacation (Seattle) until after Rowan is born... so much fun and the weather was so nice!

- Tyler started putting Rowan's dresser together

- Slowly but surely finishing nursery projects... although still have a lot to go!

- Decided to paint a chevron wall in his closet behind his dresser... just got the paint, so now Tyler needs to find time on his list of things I want him to paint... what a trooper!

- Starting to prioritize registry to see what we really need to buy by the time he is here

- Looking forward to our shower in only 9 weeks!!

- Gained another couple pounds... up 14 so far from beginning of pregnancy

- Cravings: anything chocolate, fruit, chips, ice cream (maybe because it is like an oven out here...)

- Meeting with two pediatricians next week to pick which one we want to care for Rowan

- Starting to collect coupons for diapers, formula, bottles, etc... :)
